Healing Points was created to offer a more grounded, consistent alternative to high-volume online therapy platforms.
Tania Burg, RSW, is a Registered Social Worker and EMDR-trained therapist with more than 30 years of experience providing counselling and therapeutic support to individuals, couples, children, teens, and families across Canada and worldwide.
Known for her calm presence, depth of insight, and highly personalized approach, Tania offers a refined therapeutic experience grounded in emotional safety, discretion, and meaningful transformation. Her work is designed for clients who are seeking more than symptom management — those who want deeper self-understanding, healthier relationships, emotional clarity, and lasting internal change.
Tania specializes in trauma, anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, relationship dynamics, self-worth, life transitions, ADHD, grief, and personal growth. Drawing from EMDR, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), attachment-based approaches, and advanced therapeutic training, she tailors each session to the unique emotional landscape and goals of the individual.
Clients often come to Tania during periods of transition, burnout, relational difficulty, or emotional disconnection — seeking a space where they can slow down, feel understood, and reconnect with themselves without judgment or pressure. Her approach blends clinical expertise with warmth, intuition, and practical guidance, creating therapy that feels both deeply supportive and effective.
In addition to her Bachelor of Social Work degree from UNBC, Tania has pursued extensive advanced training in EMDR, PTSD counselling, advanced CBT, child and youth counselling, neurolinguistics programming, FASD strategies, leadership development, and trauma-informed care. Her commitment to ongoing education reflects her belief that exceptional care requires continual growth and refinement.
Tania offers virtual counselling for adults, youth, couples, and families seeking thoughtful, experienced, and compassionate therapeutic support across Canada and internationally.
“Healing often begins in the moments we feel truly seen, understood, and safe enough to be authentic.”

My professional strengths also include positive parenting support, safe crisis management, stress management, and fostering supportive environments that promote stability, growth, and resilience.
Grace Friesen
I am an addictions support worker with a background in social services and frontline crisis support.
I have experience working with individuals impacted by substance use, trauma, and complex life circumstances, and I take a client-centered, evidence-informed approach to care. In addition to my professional training, I bring lived experience with addiction and recovery, which allows me to offer practical insight alongside clinical understanding.
My focus is on supporting individuals in developing healthier coping strategies, increasing self-awareness, and creating sustainable, meaningful change. I provide a non-judgmental and supportive space where clients can explore their relationship with substances and work toward their personal goals at their own pace.
